The Star reported on Wednesday February 13, 2008 morning...
" Parliament will not be dissolved today.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi put an end to such speculation, telling reporters here yesterday: “Esok tak ada (No, it won’t be tomorrow)”.
He also denied that today’s Cabinet meeting would be the last with his present team of ministers before Parliament is dissolved to pave the way for the next general election.
“What makes you think that? How do you know it’s going to be the last Cabinet meeting (before elections are called)?” he asked when responding to a question. "

tips when taking bus

I just came back from johor. decided to take bus instead of drive..

However, this may be the last time i will do so in a long time.
Puduraya sucks as usual..too much pollution..such a disgrace to the country.
Thank God for the KFC across the street...providing solitude and cold blast of air-con..
Took Causeway Link bus from KL to JB..good bus, looks new with large PVC/leather seat.
RM23.90 for 3-seater bus..
Reached JB in 4 hrs, the bus only stopped once for 5mins along the highway for toilet break very efficient..highly recommended.

Arrived at Larkin bus station..arrrghhh..hot and noisy and harrowing experience..stupid con mens..ended up paying rm40 for my bus tix from jb-shah alam instead of rm23.90 for a seat in SuperNice 3-seater bus..

Lessons learnt when taking interstate bus:

- at bus station, when walking around buying tickets, if people ask where you are going..just ignore. they are friendly only coz they wanna get ur money.
only speak to the sullen looking people sitting behind the counter..if not u'll end up having to pay higher ticket price [which include the con-mens referral fee]
- when buying bus ticket, apart from the usual e.g. price, bus departure time and arrival location, don't forget to ask what time the bus scheduled to arrive at destination, where will the bus stop for breaks, no of seats in the bus, will the bus stop at other locations to pick / drop off passenger, etc.
