I got this article in my email today...so decided to post it up on my blog.
Not sure if its true..perhaps you and I can come back and put in the comments if ever these predictions become a reality.
-------------------
Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960(reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana's death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.
He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned.
If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her. If it is a famous person(celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media.
He urged the media to publicise these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.
Future predictions
2008, July:
There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.
2008, 18th September:
An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.
2008, 17th December:
terrorist attack in America
2010:
The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.
2010, 15th June:
The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.
2011:
The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.
2013, 1st – 25th November:
Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands. A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.
2014:
A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.
2015:
By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheat, and international confusion and terror ensues.
2016, April:
A huge typhoon will invade China, causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.
2026, July:
A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named "The Big One". Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.
Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people's mindsets in the time period 2007 – 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

New World Suites Hotel, Bintulu
I arrived in Bintulu on Wed 21st May 2008.
The airport was surprisingly new and modern. Am amazed! Didn't expect them to have a modern and new airport.
Then me and my colleagues took a cab to cab to our hotel - New World Suites Hotel Bintulu. The cab ride cost about RM15.
The New World Suites Hotel is located above the Parkcity Shopping Mall...and there's plenty of shops in the surrounding area, so its rather convenient place to stay.
The hotel main entrance is nothing flashy..just a glass door at the side of the mall.
The lobby had simple decoration, and the wood paneling added a chic touch.
We were welcomed with cold towel..certainly a nice touch. Check in was a breeze.
There were only 2 lifts, but it arrived quickly..very rare that we had to wait long time throughout our stay here.
The rooms were indeed a pleasant surprise..better than expected. It adopts a modern deco style, remind me of other hotels like the Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Traders Hotel KL.

The room comes with a comfortable king sized bed with fluffy pillows, flat screen tv, leather sofa, work table with really comfy chair, kettle, iron & board.
The bathroom is spacious with good lighting and superb shower heads.

It has certainly been a good stay here so far..the only bad thing is that I send my baju kurung to be dry-cleaned..All the sequins fell off ;(
But well.. the staff say they'll waive the charges for that.
Hopefully they'll honour their word when I check out next week.

MAS flight to Bintulu
Finally I get to go outstation work after being stuck in assignments in KL for 6 months.
Departed for Bintulu on Wed, 21st May.
Checking in at KLIA with MAS new check-in system was quite a hassle.
They have installed new self check in machines. It would be convenient for those travelers without luggage, but for those with luggage, its like 2 times work.
First, I had to go to the check-in machine, key-in my e-ticket no to get the hard copy ticket. Then I had to go to the check-in counter to check in my luggage.

Such a waste of time and no value for money, especially since the return ticket cost my company almost RM1200. If its Air Asia..ok la..kind of expected you have to do things yourself, but taking MAS, we would expect full service.
Some more walking past the check-in counters..I can see the staff just sitting and chatting with each other since not many ppl now checking in at the counter...such a waste of resources for a company that is trying to increase its profit.
Then in the airplane came another round of disappointment.
MAS in their effort to increase profit...customers are the ones who have to suffer.
I remember in the old days, flight to Sabah or Sarawak would mean yummy filling hot food.
Now..sadly..its only ...
half of a triple decker cold cucumber and potato masala sandwich + a small box of cold pasta salad with 2 chicken meatballs + 1 small container of drinking water + 5 pieces of grapes + 1 mini bitter chocolate bar.
so pathetic....! :(
If emirates airlines flies to Bintulu..that would have been my preferred choice. they are so much more value for money airline.
MAS is going down the drain ... it continues to disappoint again and again since last year.

The green always seems greener on the other side
My Friend in Sydney replied this when I complained.“…with the shit way of planning in my dept..god knows..the dept is just going down the drain as days past.”
He wrote..
“ Its funny but the both of us before taking up our respectively roles were thinking about how good it will be once we get out from Big 4 that we will both be able to move into the respective sectors of interest for ourselves- banking for me and oil and gas for yourself. How funny as it seems as the reality of both moves had very little connection with what we feel now?
Gosh, I think that things are very ironic and at every juncture of our lives, we discover something new about ourselves respectively. I really appreciate the hard work that our parents put in their respective jobs because they were doing jobs that might not have interested them and yet they did that for the last 30 years or so.
Isn't that ironic? Yeah all companies in a commercial environment is shit. The worse are the IA departments because the business absolutely hate us!
There isn't much that we can do about it eventually. I think that life is strange but the most interesting thing about it is, every single move no matter bad or good adds more colour into our perspectives.
Take care and hope that the both of us will prevail!"
Really true..I guess this goes back to the case of “The green always seems greener on the other side”

Take Home Chef?? yea right!!

Take Home Chef’s Curtis Stone is so bias..!
He goes to supermarket to select someone who he can follow home and cook for.
However, if you notice, in each episode he will only select short, petite, pretty young women.
Come one man…there’s so many women that go to supermarket…why in each episode its always single women or newly married women??? BIAS!!
And such a coincidence..most of these women don't know how to cook...so they seem to adore him like God. Of course he seems to revel in that fact and seized the oppoturnity to flirt with them non-stop.
And his closing tagline..”so the next time you go to the market, make sure you dress up”
Oh come…get real… who would have the time to dress up if its just going to grab groceries? especially after work whole day...
and that's the amazing thing..the women he pick up seems to have the luxury to go shopping during day time whilst everyone is at office...
Come on...these are not the kind of women who need a break from cooking everyday.
Choose someone who have to work from 8am-7pm..and rush home to cook for the family.
These are the women who would really need and appreciate a night off from cooking.
I use to adore watching him in surfing the menu with that Bender guy...but now seeing him in Take Home Chef...arrghhh...disgusting!
