Petrol price increase by 78 sen as of June 6th 2008

Yesterday, petrol stations probably tripled their daily sales..upon the sms being sent around that petrol price will increase by 78sen.
Thankfully no one forwarded me any sms... so I was not compelled to forward it to other friends and waste my money on the sms.

Anyway... as a typical Malaysian.. my mum pestered me to go fill up the car full-tank.
which I had to do at 11.30pm after my uni alumni meeting ... and Gosh..the queue at the petrol station..wasted almost 30 minutes of my life there just lining up waiting to fill up petrol at RM1.92 for the last time in my life.

Its funny to see the man queuing behind my car panicking at 11.57pm that he won't have enough time to fill up petrol before 12 midnight...begging the pump attendant to allow him to fill in first. Lucky for him, the pump attendant said he could go and pay first whilst waiting for his turn.


Anyway...here it is..my receipt for filling up petrol at RM1.92 per litre for the last time at 11.57pm on 5th June 2008..


Wonder whether this would be part of history and potential collector's item...
Kids in future probably wont believe that we use to pay only RM1.92 per litre for petrol..haha..
